'Shortest video shoot' attempt ruined by unprofessional actors

An attempt at setting a record time for the video shoot of Morris D’Voice’s song ‘I Love You’ failed on the backs of unprofessional standards by hired actresses.

The target was to make the shortest video shoot ever in the history of music worldwide.

Pre-Production, Production and Post-Production was all scheduled to be done in well under five minutes. The video was an uncut one scene shot of Morris following a girl who switches emotions every 20 seconds till she finally bursts into tears.

The video was under the directorship of Abraham Ohene Djan of OM Studios, who saw his efforts thrown back in his face by actresses who could not express the desired emotions for the shot. The proposed five minute video ended up consuming five days.

Speaking to Okyeame Kwame, award winning artiste and C.E.O of One Mic Entertainment, managers of Morris D’Voice, he expressed his disappointment at the situation.

“We had everything planned out and it was very weakening, seeing the well strategized and headline stunt dwindle before our very eyes for lack of professionalism. But we are done with the video and for that we are very happy”.

The Rap Doctor as Okyeame Kwame is also called, intimated in an interview that they had sought the services of well known actresses whose names he insisted on keeping under wraps but realized they couldn’t produce what they were paid to do until they finally met one who could perfect the act.

Information later gathered was that, the actress who saved the day starred in the controversial movie “HOT FORK” and put in her best to make the shoot a success.

One Mic Entertainment is set to endorse and officially unveil Morris D’Voice as their newly signed artist with his album and on July 26, launch his long awaited album, ‘Home and away’ at the Silverbird Stores.

The event is set to bring together corporate heads, lawyers, actors and fellow musicians and would have Kwame Farkye as the Master of Ceremony. Artistes slated for the launch are Asem, Eazzy, Richie, Zigi, Bradez, Okyeame Kwame and OJ Blaq among others
