One of the unpleasant moments that nearly marred the success of the final funeral rites of dancehall diva, Ebony Reigns was how popular pastor, Dr.Lawrence Tetteh took a swipe at Rev.Owusu for distorting his sermon.

Dr. Lawrence Tetteh, who is the Founding President of the Worldwide Miracle Outreach was the one who officiated the burial service at the Forecourt of the House on Saturday 24th March 2018.

In the middle of his sermon, Razzonline.com’s sharp lenses captured Rev.Owusu Bempah, who is noted as the nation’s Prophet, appearance at the funeral grounds.

Rev. Owusu Bempah’s presence attracted the attention of most patrons including popular National Democratic Congress (NDC) activist in the Ashanti Region, Appiah Stadium, to give the popular man of God a rousing Welcome.

The General Overseer of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, Reverend Owusu Bempah, who wanted to show his appreciation, decided to shake hands with the NDC’ activist and some of the patrons.

But, Dr Lawrence Tetteh who felt his long preaching was being distorted by Owusu Bempah’s gesture, expressed his misgivings by raising his voice on top of him:

“Ladies and gentlemen I'm preaching…I think this is one thing which we are doing in Ghana which is so disrespectful…A man of God is preaching; we should show respect: it is not right”, Dr. Lawrence angrily said

Rev.Owusu Bempah was then asked by Dr Tetteh to join him on stage.

Ebony Reigns, born Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng was finally laid to rest at the Osu Cemetery in Accra on Saturday 24 March 2018.
