Reggie Rockstone has advised the youth to resist the pressure from celebrities and what they see on social media.
According to the Hiplife legend, much of what is portrayed online is merely not as it seems.
In an interview with GhanaWeb TV’s Patricia Rockson Hammond on 'Moans and Cuddles', Rockstone explained that many glamorous lifestyles showcased on social media are either fake or acquired through dubious means.
“Show business is all smoke and mirrors. Perception is everything. A lot of crap that you see on social media is not what it is.
"You see people with Range Rovers and slay queens, you don't know how they got the money for that, some of them go to Dubai and do all kinds of really sick stuff,” he said.
He cautioned young people against envy, urging them to avoid actions that could lead to dangerous consequences.
“With younger people, it's peer pressure. They see people acquiring stuff and they also want to do anything to get some. Do not envy anybody. It's not necessary,” he added.
