Sidney Returns With New Name

We?ve got news for those of you who think Sidney, the king of Hiplife controversy is out of the music business. He walked out of the music scene with an Arnold Scwazznager ?I will be back? wave but it appears the time for his return is nigh.

Sidney is currently busy recording songs in the studio with the likes of Morris Babyface, Zapp Mallet, Apietus and Sugar Stone.

The new album is to be released mid 2007 to mark Sidney?s ten years experience as an artist on the music front.

There will be more controversy for fans and detractors to blab about as CD and tape buyers of his music shall not find the name Sidney on the album cover.

The new album from Sidney shall bear a new name yet to be made public by the controversial star.

Sidney started his music career in 1997 with the group known as Nananom. Members of the group included Omanhene Pozo and Joe T. He later went solo with popular songs like apuskeleke and obia nye obia. Obia nye obia stirred great controversy across the country as apuskeleke brought back in vogue tight-fitting skimpy clothes among Ghanaian women.

?I?m not coming back as Sidney, I?m changing my name. My own new name in a different way. I?ve changed my name, I?m not using Sidney anymore,? he told SHOWGHANA. Can you guess Sidney?s new name?
