Sista Afia's manager disagrees with Bullet over Wendy Shay's video

Ricky Agyemang, popularly known as Bullet, had earlier stated that the latest music video for his newly signed artist Wendy Shay is the first video by any Ghanaian upcoming musician that has hit #1 trend on YouTube.

Bossu Kule, manager for songstress Sista Afia has however refuted Bullet’s assertion, tagging it as a statement that lacked facts. According to Kule, ‘Bullet is a brother, but feels that statement was hurriedly said without getting facts right’.

“First of all, I’ll commend Bullet and his hardworking team for such a great project. If I’m to comment on what he said, I think most managers would say same for their artistes if they get the chance to, and I don’t see Bullet as just a brother, I also see him as one businessman. That guy is something else when it comes to business”, he said.

“Of course the video is trending and will keep trending because it’s a good video with great contents from the sexy Wendy. I don’t see any negative vibe in there; the only thing I’ll say is Bullet should have gotten his facts right before saying this is the first video to trend on YouTube from an upcoming musician”, Kule argued.

“I’ve seen videos from Kwesi Arthur, Kuami Eugene, and co hit #1 trend on YouTube. These are guys whom to others are still upcoming because, at that time of the trend, they weren’t there yet. So if he said Wendy is number one, I totally disagree. However, like I said the video is worth the hype and I have shared both audio and video on my platforms since its release”, he posited.

Bossu Kule added that Sista Afia and Wendy are two great musicians and anytime they meet both parties feel free to share ideas because of the realness between them.

Kule further urged and begged Ghanaians to not compare the two female artistes, since both are great in their unique ways and will support each other regardless

“My people in Ghana, I know this hasn’t started yet but it might begin soon so let me beg you all, we shouldn’t start comparing Wendy, Sista Afia or any other female artist. These are talented girls doing great in their unique ways”, he pleaded.

“Instead of comparing, I’ll plead we use that time and space to push their works. The industry lacks female strength and the late Ebony Reigns is one who would have paved many ways for the ladies but for some unfortunate reasons, she couldn’t get there”, Kule stated.

He concluded that “We should support Wendy, Sista Afia, Feli Nuna, Adina, Eno Barony, Ohemaa Dadao, Freda Rhymes, Sefa, MzVee, Efya, Becca, Nana Yaa, Rashelle Blue, Patience Nyarko, Dhat Gyal etc. to reach the height that these male musicians will start applauding. It’s about time our women represent Ghana at the BET’s, Grammy, etc. They need that too”.
