Six qualify for Hitz Discovery finale

Six contestants, Woelin Segbefia, Prince Hlordzi, Ernest Ankomah, Hagar Adjei, David Addy and Augustine Afrifa have qualified for the grand finale of the Hitz Discovery reality show.

The six will lock horns at the forecourt of His Majesty’s Night Club near the Trade Fair site on Friday, February 18 to see who stands supreme to be crowned winner of the maiden edition of the reality show.

Prior to the eviction Saturday which was live on both Hitz 103.7 FM and Hitz TV on Multi-TV, seven contestants battled it out in a fierce competition hoping to book a place in the finale.

After turns of exciting performances, the judges; Jamie Adjetey, Daddy Bosco and a guest judge, Nana Kwaku Okyere Duah popularly known as Tic Tac - after comments and the summing up of votes collated from the general public - announced that John Afful had missed the ticket to the finale.

It was a painful and a dream-dashed exit for John who knew he was almost there. One could clearly see that he was filled with disappointment. With a heavy heart, he bowed out of the competition thanking organizers for an unforgettable and educational experience.

Apart from what is clearly going to be an exciting and talent-filled finale, renowned music giants, Tic Tac, Obuor, Kwabena Kwabena, Nana Boroo, Chemphe and Akoo Nana are billed to thrill fans who will troop to His Majesty’s to witness the crowning of a champion.

The three top winners of the reality show will walk away with a contract with Hitz FM to record and promote his or her album including a free music video.

They will also get surprise packages from the station and organizers.

The Hitz Discovery reality show is sponsored by Vodafone and supported by Xpower Energy Drink, Delon Skin Care, Ultimate Print and Multi-TV.
