The founder of Heaven's Gate Ministries, Prophet Kumchacha, has pointed out a lack of unity among pastors in Ghana and a troubling animosity between them.
Speaking on the United Showbiz, he compared certain pastors to the devil, claiming that some self-proclaimed men of God are even more dangerous.
Citing the case of Pastor Love, Kumchacha pointed out that some pastors in the country betray their colleagues and take pleasure in their downfalls.
“There is no unity among pastors in this country. Some pastors are more wicked than Satan; I am more afraid of some pastors than armed robbers because they can easily kill you,” he stated.
“If I’m in a meeting with certain pastors, I prefer to carry my own water to the restroom because I can easily be poisoned,” he added.
Kumchacha also called on pastors nationwide to contribute to the release of Pastor Love.
He has asked that they collectively contribute towards paying off the car debt owed to Pastor Love's accuser so that he could be released.
“I heard the lawyer talking about fundraising, so I urge all pastors to contribute to help Pastor Love. The Bible states that when your friend is in need, you should help him. So, I want all pastors to come together and contribute so we can bail him out,” he said.
While some express sympathy and argue that Pastor Love could have received a more lenient punishment or even just a fine, others insist he deserves no mercy.
Pastor Love's case, which began in 2017, concluded with him being found guilty of theft, appropriation, and dishonesty.
