Renowned gospel act, Sonnie Badu, says he is in the studio working on material with some of the finest gospel musicians in Ghana.
He made this statement last Tuesday at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Accra during a press interaction. According to Sonnie Badu who is known for songs like Baba, Let It Rain, Lost In His Glory and Covenant Keeping God, he is collaborating with a number of artistes including Cwesi Oteng and Supt. Kofi Sarpong.
“The likes of Ohemaa Mercy, Cwesi Oteng, Nacy, Daughters of Glorious Jesus and Tagoe Sisters are doing great stuff. I love what they do and I’m currently with some of them. Music lovers will soon hear what we have been able to do,” Sonnie pointed out.
According to him, he enjoys listening to Ghanaian music because the lyrics are good. He took the opportunity to thank all the people who patronized his Africa Worships with Sonnie Badu concert Saturday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
“I thank everybody for making it to my concert despite the rain. May the good Lord bless them all,” Sonnie said. He stated that he was willing to support Ghanaian gospel musicians whenever they have concerts.
“I am willing to fly in my band to support any gospel musician who invites me to support his or her concert,” Badu affirmed.
