South African rap artist and BET Awards nominee for Best International Act, Africa 2016 Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, known by his stage name AKA may soon land a role in TV Series Empire.

The musician who played host to the main characters of the hit series (Taraji P. Hanson and Terrence Howard) when they visited the beautiful country of South Africa to launch Fox Africa on DSTV Compact bouquet discussed with them the insurgency of African music all around the globe and the need to have it fly farther.

“The coolest thing is that African music and not even the music, it’s across boards is really on the insurgency….It’s never been a better time to be South African at all.” AKA is heard telling Taraji P. Hanson and Terrence Howard who listen attentively.
