Spanish Embassy thrills Ghanaians with classical music

The Spanish Embassy in Ghana at the weekend organised Latin American classical music recital to thrill the audience in Accra.

The show that was performed by Mr. Luis Alberto Llaneza and Mrs. Radostina Ivanora included love and traditional classical songs.

Mrs. Miriam Hernandez, Officer in charge of Cultural Affair at the Embassy, said the Embassy has been organizing the event since 2010 to entertain Ghanaians.

She said the Embassy intended to collaborate with the Ghanaian institutions and various choirs to make classical music popular.

Mrs. Hernandez said, “It is also to create a platform to interact with Ghanaian musicians to promote classical music in the two countries."

She announced that the Embassy would organise a training workshop for selected choir groups and musicians interested in voice techniques.**
