Stars to worship on Dec 6

Has it crossed your mind how our celebrities worship God? Well come December 6 at the Hom Auditorium, Madina Estate, Accra, a line- up of artistes will show their other side as they gather to worship God.

The artistes who will be worshipping God on the night include Nadia Buari, Van Vicker, Juliet Ibrahim, Omar Sheriff, Trigmatic, D Black, KOD, Naa Ashorkor, Willie and Mike, Nana Ama McBrown, D-Black , Joe mettle, kwesi Oteng, Becca, James Gardinar, Bismark the Joke, Jeremie amongst others.

Guest speakers will be Bishop Bernard Owusu-Ansah and Sampson Amoateng. According to actress Soraya Mensah, organiser of the show; she decided to put this event together to show the other side of celebrities.

"Most at times people see us differently due to the nature of our work and people copy our life style blindly by what we do on TV does not necessarily tally with our everyday activities.

But the truth is, most of us are very serious with God but do make time to worship and praise him. This concert is therefore aimed at showing the other side of us. I will entreat everyone to come to the event come December 6 because it is going to be a great show”.

She explained that the show is scheduled to be an annual event where different artistes will be engaged in different activities like singing, drama, spoken word, instrumental, choreography, dance and comedy all aimed at praising God.

The event which is the second of its kind is put together by HOM in collaboration with SSA ventures. It is sponsored by Africa world Airline, Special Ice water, DDP, Mensvic Hotel, Natural Day Spa, Metro Mass Transport.
