Award-winning Hiplife musician, Stay Jay reportedly has a bone to pick with television network, TV3 due to the station’s inability to honour an agreement it reached with him.
TV3 reportedly failed to premiere Stay Jay’s latest video for his song, Baby Lace featuring Mr. Eazi on its network after it had arranged with the artiste’ management to do so.
Reasons are yet to be given for the failure to show the video. NEWS-ONE gathered that Stay Jay did not take the occurrence lightly.
His management reportedly had an arrangement with TV3 to do a special premiere and release the video on TV3’s Sunrise last Wednesday morning.
According to the plan, Stay Jay was supposed to be interviewed on his music career. Days to the supposed appearance and video premiere on the show, his management team continued to send messages and prompted fans on social networks; Facebook, twitter, BlackBerry and Whatspp, among others, to watch TV3 for the video premiere.
Stay Jay indeed showed up to talk about his career. However the video premiere never happened. Credits rather rolled with a Beyonce’s video for her song; Who Run the World. The incident didn’t go down well with Stay Jay and his team was peeved.
They stated that they presented a copy of the video to the producers of the show days before the scheduled date. Close sources told NEWS-ONE Stay J manager, Jay Blakk was really outraged. He twitted, “TV3 God go (will) punish you people…”
He later apologized to his artiste’s fans by also twitting “apology to our cherished fans that waited for Stay Jay’s new video premiering on TV3 today.”
