Stephanie Karikari, winner of this year’s Miss Ghana beauty pageant competition, has received the keys to her prize car, the very sleek Hyundai Accent.
At a short but impressive ceremony at the offices of Auto Plaza, local representatives of Hyundai, she was officially handed keys to the prize car. Stephanie was supported at the function by first and second runner-ups Frances and Esther.
The beauty queen thanked the management of the automobile company for their donation and support and also promised to be a worthy ambassador of the Hyundai range of cars whiles upholding the values and tenets that comes with being Miss Ghana.
The Chief Executive Officer of Auto Plaza Mr. Jihad M. Jihazi tasked all three queens to be of good behavior and strive hard for the various campaigns that lie ahead of them. He said given the quality this year’s competition was made of, he is hopeful that Ghana has got what it takes to rule the world stage.
…visits Koffee Lounge In a related development, barely a week after being crowned Miss Ghana 2010, Stephanie Karikari, has paid a courtesy call on the management and staff of Koffee Lounge, inside the A&C Mall at East Legon. The management of the facility, which had prior to the finals of this year’s competition been offering free eatery services to the contestants, were surprised when Stephanie, in the company of Media Whizz Kids officials and her parents, stormed the bar, to offer their show of solidarity all throughout the event.
The CEO of Koffee Lounge, Miss Adwoa Ghartey, who couldn’t hold back her emotions, thanked MWK officials for the visit and congratulated Stephanie for winning the competition. Later, Stephanie donated a hamper full of goodies to Miss Adwoa Ghartey and conveyed the appreciation of the other nineteen contestants to her.
Post Miss Ghana 2010 is obviously going to be a busy one for Stephanie as she has visiting sponsors, conducting media interviews and working on her Corporate Social Responsibility projects to take care of. Stephanie rose to fame in the early hours of Sunday morning when she beat nineteen others to win the coveted prize of Miss Ghana 2010. She takes over from last year’s winner Mimi Areme.
Meanwhile, prizes for all twenty contestants, with the exception of heavy gadgets like the plasma televisions and microwave ovens which will be presented to the winners during the week, have been handed over to all twenty participants at a short ceremony held at the Mirage Royale Hotel. The visibly excited contestants thanked the management of MWK for a good job done and promised to be worthy ambassadors of the Miss Ghana brand. Miss Ghana 2010 was directed of Media Whizz Kids.
