Stephen Owusu kicks it hard for christ

It’s often been said that music is the universal language. And, if that’s so, no one speaks it better than Stephen Owusu.

“I knew I had the talent for singing from childhood and I exhibited it in Church but it actually did not occur to me that I should take it far”, the degree holder in Business Administration said.

“All these while, I was still singing at the Light House Chapel where I worship and I had the dream of releasing an album but my accounting career plans overshadowed that and killed my confidence in the music area”, he continued.

Stephen, the 28 year old explained that if his fellow colleagues are able to do it then he could also join the singing wagon and that also motivated him too.

Stephen’s debut CD, has a sound all its own; from the reggae groove of “Me Da W’Ase” the catchy hooks of “Onyame Guamaa” (a praise song). This CD expresses his relationship with Jesus Christ in several different musical styles.

Each song was written and produced by Stephen through the Holy Spirit, therefore the words are from THE WORD, which gives this CD power to change lives, penetrate hearts, plant seeds, and encourage not only the body of Christ but all who hears.

Stephen has ministered through music to many audiences with varied styles of music.

Grab a copy of the album and hear songs like “Afe Wieyi”, “Nea Waye Me”, “Onayme Nim”, “Eye Mefe, Kentene Woho” as well as worship versions of “Onyame Ease” and “Me Da W’Ase”.

His debut nine track album, “Eye Mefe” displays not only his musical talent, and awesome song writing ability; it also expresses his love for the Lord and heart for ministering the gospel to everyone, without compromise.

Stephen’s debut CD, “Eye Mefe” is available at all music shops in Ghana.
