Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale and Samini are not there yet - Lord Kenya

Lord Kenya Lord Kenya

Lord Kenya is just creating more enemies for himself in the music industry, with his recent statements.

In a recent interview on Empire radio with Bola Ray, he belittled the achievements of Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale and Samini, stating that;

“When I put Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy and Samini together, none of them is there yet, none of them can be crowned as the best dancehall artiste, they have two years to get there.”

After making this arguable statement, he tipped Nero X, saying he’s a great rapper whose music speaks for itself.

For the record, Lord Kenya who has been in Ghana’s music industry longer than the names he mentioned, before he turned pastor, is winner of numerous award.

He has ‘Artiste of the Year’, ‘Hiplife Artiste of the Year’, and ‘Hiplife Album of the Year’ at the Ghana Music Awards 2001, and ‘Best Ghanaian Rap Music Award ‘at the Anansekrom Festival in Canada 2000, to his name.
