This weekend, the Fantasy Dome (trade Fair Center, Accra) plays host to another dashing lineup of West African music giants in the September 22 leg of GLO’s 5-night series of comedy and mega concerts— the Glo Mega Music and Lafftafest.
Already, famed comedians; Basketmouth, DKB, Gordons, Jacinta, Bovi, Foster Romanus, Seyi Law, and Salvadore, as well as influential artists including Patapaa, Kuami Eugene, Yemi Alade, Tekno, Flavour, Sarkodie, and DMW frontman, Davido have all performed to a full house at the Glo Mega Music and Lafftafest.
This Saturday, 8 topnotch performers have been confirmed for the gig, among whom Stonebwoy, Samini, and WizKid will mount the stage as headliners.
Yemi Alade, Tekno, MzVee, Kofi Kinaata, and Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz constitute other acts for the night.
According to Mr Uche Ojo, Head of Business for Glo, the music and comedy marathon was designed by the telecoms giant to “appreciate our teeming supporters in Ghana. We are also using the events to welcome new subscribers to join the network and experience the best of services, especially data, from Glo, the grandmasters of Data in Ghana”.
The series commenced August 12 with the first edition of Laffta Fest, and it has been running to mass appeal since.
