Ghanaian Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy has a lot of reasons to celebrate.
Early last week, he became the second Ghanaian to earn a Grammy nomination for his work on ‘Avrakedabra‘ by Morgan Heritage. He was featured on ‘Reggae Night (GlobalRemix) off the album released on May 19, 2017.
The legendary reggae group earned a ‘Best Reggae Album‘ nomination at the 2018 Grammy Awards.
An album listening session was held last week for Stonebwoy’s fourth studio album Epistles of Mama. Set for release on December 12, 2017, it is dedicated to the memory of his mother, Catherine Satekla, who died in 2015.
Sean Paul, Chronixx, Sarkodie, Efya, and Joey B are some of the artistes featured on the album. The double disk album is made up of 24 songs – 12 Dancehall and 12 Afrobeat songs.
Stonebwoy was one of the headlining artistes at the S concert held over the weekend performing to over 40,000 people.
