Ghanaian music executive and parliamentary candidate for Okaikoi Central, Sadiq Abdulai Abu, popularly known as 'Baba Sadiq', has criticised Stonebwoy's new single "Jejereje," stating that it is filled with noise.

The controversy began when a fan of the Dancehall artiste claimed in a Facebook post that Baba Sadiq has secretly been listening to the song.

Sadiq, Stonebwoy's current nemesis, rejected the assertion, stating, “I don’t listen to ‘noise.’ It’s not a ‘superior artistic product.’”

Within 48 hours after its release, Stonebwoy's "Jejereje" has been well-received by fans and music lovers, currently trending at number one on YouTube Music with over 200,000 views.

Background

Baba Sadiq and Stonebwoy have been at loggerheads for some time, with the former 3Music boss taking every opportunity to criticise the dancehall musician.

Their feud began when Baba Sadiq accused Stonebwoy of threatening his wife and being generally abusive toward women.

In response, Stonebwoy filed a lawsuit against Baba Sadiq, seeking an apology and damages amounting to GH₵3 million for the claims he deemed defamatory.

During the recent TGMAs, Baba Sadiq actively campaigned against Stonebwoy, promoting King Promise over the BHIM Nation boss.

He appears to be continuing this trend as he prepares for the next TGMAs.
