Award-winning dancehall artiste born Livingstone Etse Satekla, known by his stage name as Stonebwoy proved again that he is the best when it comes to stage performance at the Christiansborg (Osu) Castle Saturday evening when he electrified at the 2019 edition of ‘Rhythms on Da Runway’ fashion event.
None of the other artistes who took to the stage; King Promise, Rex Omar, Obrafour, DKB, Epixode, Pauline Oduro, Joe Mettle Tinny among others, could match up to Stonebwoy’s thrilling performance which got Ghana’s Second lady Samira Bawumia stunned.
For the 20 minutes he was on stage, there was no dull moment for Mrs Bawumia as he thrilled her and the audience with songs like "Kpokeke, Shuga, Mane me", and several others.
The "My Name" singer who was carried away by Samira’s admiration walked to her and said, “Thank you very much lady of the country, we’re your sons, nephew and cousins, I hardly attend event like this because I am that little rasta man who just wants to be in my corner anyways”.
Stonebwoy BhimNation camp has been trending with lot of unanswered happenings which has led to him unfollowing his protégé, Kelvyn Boy on Instagram and allegedly accusing his manager Blakk Cedi of mishandling funds.
The argument has, however been raised that the ‘Tuff Seed’ hitmaker is an already established artiste hence it is important to give attention to the new artiste.
After Stonebwoy unfollowed Kelvyn Boy, his next post suggested the artiste he had helped is being ungrateful.
The incident has ignited rumours of Kelvyn Boy failing to acknowledge the push Stonebwoy has put in to push career.
