Television personality Bridget Otoo has sent a word of advice to Ruff Town records signee Wendy Shay to stop using the name of the late member of their record label Ebony Reigns in promoting herself.

Wendy Shay since her introduction to the music scene has always be referred to as the late dancehall sensation’s replacement by some section of Ghanaian because she behaves and acts similar to the late Ebony but some think otherwise.

News broke some days ago of Wendy Shay allegedly involved in a sexual relationship with her boss Bullet and they were both caught a lady who claims to be Bullet’s girlfriend in the audio the lady made mention of late Ebony’s name that she also caught Bullet and Ebony naked in bed.

After some few days, it was revealed that the audio was not real but rather a snippet of Wendy Shay’s upcoming song titled “The boy is mine”. These made some social media users lash out at them for deceiving the public with a fake audio but as well, some claim the new snippet is just a cover up to the whole issue.

But Bridget Otoo in her view thinks Wendy Shay is using the demise of the late dance-hall diva, Ebony Reigns to promote her upcoming album.

According to her, she believes it was all hype but Wendy could have promoted her album without including Ebony into the matter.

She made this known in a tweet where she tweeted; “I am against anyone who insults you for being you. They are not fair to you but pls if the audio leak was a publicity stunt then you were very disrespectful towards the memory of Ebony. Her death is real. So don’t disrespect her name!!’
