Young actor, Emmanuel Nii Adom Quaye, popularly known as Strika, has accused his handlers of denying him access to monies paid him by Netflix for his role in ‘Beast of no Nation’.

Strika starred alongside Abraham Attah and Idris Elba, who were undoubtedly the stars of the popular movie.

Last year, reports emerged that the child actor had turned to begging on the streets after running away from school.

However, he has now filed an official complaint against his handlers – Kobina Sam and Kofi Robert – at the Greater Accra Region Command.

Strika said an amount of $30,000 was transferred by Netflix into an account held in trust for him by Mr Robert.

According to him, the account was to be handed over to him when he turns 18, but he is now 19 years yet has not been given access to his account at Barclays.

The Police invited Mr Robert last Friday to give his statement, after which he was asked to give details on the account Strika reported him for.

Meanwhile, Kobina Sam, one-time guardian of Strika, has also been invited for further questioning on the whereabouts of a car the actor claims was in his possession.

Strika is accusing the two of withdrawing close to ¢40,000 of his money to purchase a commercial vehicle, of which he is yet to see the proceeds.
