Super Producer Kouakou On A Mission

Recently we published an article regarding the Ghanaian/Ivorian Super producer, arranger and musician Georges Kouakou. He mentioned in the interview with Mr. CNN that:

"It has always been grieved in my heart that I did not stay in Ghana to help produce this beautiful culture of my motherland. I've all my life invested in international artiste such as Alpha Blondy, Ismael Isaac's Yellowman, Sister Carol, The Wailers Band, Culture, Burning Spear and etc. Those are the people I produced and played with, so make it clear in your article that I'm a Ghanaian and would like to give my talents and service to the Ghanaian culture".

Realizing the many talents Ghana has to offer, Georges has decided to help produce artistes destined for international stardom. With his experience in the international music scene, his mission is to give back to Ghana, a place of his birth by unearthing talents.

He recently lost his dear brother and is going to Ghana on May 16th for the funeral. He plans to meet with industry personnel and also meet super producer, Isaac Abeidoo of Goodies Music Productions after the funeral.

Papa Yankson, Pat Thomas, Jewel Ackah and A B Crentsil will assist Georges while in Ghana in retrieving his brother's body from the Korle Bu Mortuary on Friday 20th May, 2005 and burial follows afterwards.

Ghanaweb would like to express our condolences to Georges' and his family for the loss of their brother, Isaac George Hayford, who was the Petroleum Engineer for Society of Ivorian Petroleum Operations for over 20 years.
