Accra, Oct 30, GNA - TEBI, a new brand of Tebazile Jewellery, a jewellery designing company in Accra, is the designer, producer and sponsor of the three crowns for this year's Miss Ghana Pageant.
Miss Elizabeth Dankora, Proprietress of Tebazile Jewellery, in
an interview with the Ghana News Agency in Accra, said
organisers of the pageant chose TEBI because of its remarkable
experience in the industry. Miss Dankora has been in the industry for more than 10 years,
fusing jewels, gold and beads to create her trademark as a
renowned jewellery designer, with a clientele list, including, Halle
Berry, Cameron Diaz, Paris Hilton, Janet Jackson, Ciara, Mya,
Erica Christensen, Sienna Guillroy and Jessica Lange.
She said this is the first time TEBI was designing the crowns,
adding TEBI "will honour the beauty pageants by creating the
showpiece prize - a stunning, 18 karat, gold plated bespoke
crown." She said: "The vision behind the concept is of a strong African
nurturing woman, an ambassador who exudes style and
confidence. A mixture of gold, bronze and silver materials fused
with onyx and ruby beads creates this amazing regal masterpiece." She spoke about the TEBI brand, describing it as a "dream in
jewels." A new line of jewellery created with imagination and flair with a
bold and distinctive style, she said. "This range is for the fashion
conscious young women who like to stand out from the crowd". Meanwhile, the grand finale of the 2010 Miss Ghana Pageant
comes off Saturday, October 30, in Accra.
