TIGO holds draw for Christmas bonanza promotion

Accra, Jan. 9, GNA - Mr Ernest Tutu Mensah, a 50-year-old Sunyani-based driver, on Friday won 2008 model Suzuki Grand Vitara prize when Millicom Ghana Limited, operators of TIGO telecommunication network, held a draw for its "Top up and Win" promotion. The draw, which was supervised by officials from the Game Commission, also saw other 500 out of the over 2,000,000 subscribers of the network who participated in the promotion win Ipods each. The promotion whose qualification was that each pre-paid subscriber who recharged with GH¢1.00 between December 12 and 29 last year, would be automatically entitled to winning prizes aimed at making its subscribers more "expressive" at all times. Ms Anita Erskine, Corporate Affairs Manager of Millicom Ghana Limited, said TIGO was paying keen attention to the constantly increasing demands of its loyal subscribers and society at large by ensuring that an even more extensive variation of mobile services were provided.

Ms Erskine said TIGO's promotions had always been designed with subscribers in mind and also to make them express themselves in whichever way they liked.

She announced that the company had in store various promotions which it would be rolling out this year to ensure that its subscribers felt satisfied even the more.

Mr Frederick Quainoo, Marketing Manager of the company, advised subscribers to always wait for a call from TIGO to confirm whether or not they won prizes or seek confirmation from TIGO offices so as not to fall victim to miscreants parading as TIGO officials. Mr Quainoo urged subscribers to remain active on their TIGO lines to enable them to continue enjoying clearer mobile phone calls all over the country.
