Accra, May 6, GNA - Mr Roland Walker, a Reporter with TV 3 Network Limited, left Accra on Thursday night for Cairo, to participate in a training course for Young African Journalists.
The Ghana Journalists Association in consultation with the TV 3 Network Chapter of the Association nominated Mr Walker for the programme.
A statement Mr Bright Blewu, General Secretary of GJA, signed said the three-week course, which would open on Saturday May 7, was being organised by the Union of African Journalists in co-operation with the Egyptian Ministry of Information.
The GJA is a member of the UAJ.
Former beneficiaries of the course include Mr Caesar Abagali, Ms Beatrice Asamani and George-Ramsey Benamba, all of the Ghana News Agency and Mr Tim Dzamboe and Mr Vance Azu, both of the Graphic Communications Group.
