The chiefs and people of Somé Traditional area have expressed their utter disgust at TV3 Network, organisers of Ghana's Most Beautiful pageant, for robbing their representative, Enam, off the crown, and have consequently boycotted all competitions from the media house.
According to the chiefs in a letter copied to www.ghanaweb.com, they monitored the contest from beginning to end and realized several attempts by the producers of the show, the judges and some of the contestants at frustrating their representative, Enam into giving up.
The chiefs further stated that even though these people tried to frustrate Enam, she still kept putting up outstanding performances week after week, and she did everything humanly possible with such exceptional performances to win the crown.
They said there was no doubt that there was an orchestrated and well-executed plan to deny Enam the crown and because of that, they have decided to boycott any competition organized by TV3 Network.
Twenty-three-year-old entrepreneur, Ekua Mends Bannerman, representing the Central region, won the Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2019 crown after 13 weeks of competition.
She beat off stiff competition from four other finalists, including Enam [Volta Region representative] who was seen by some as the favourite for this year’s crown.
