Co-host of Starr Drive on Starr 103.5 FM and Duvet on GhOne TV Giovani Caleb has left the EIB set for 3FM, a radio brand of Media General- owners of TV3, MyNewsGh.com has confirmed.
Giovani Caleb confirmed the move on his Instagram and Facebook page moments ago. He expressed appreciation to viewers and listeners of Duvet and the Drivetime for making him. He also thanked the EIB network and its CEO Bola Ray for the opportunity.
It is unclear the reasons for the sudden move but sources say Giovani, who has seen his career blossomed since joining the Bola Ray-led EIB Network some three years ago, has been offered a mouth-watering deal by Media General to help build their radio station brand in addition to the heavyweights already there including Kwakye Afreh Nuamah, Johnny Hughes, Winston Amoah, Grace Asare, Komla Klutse among others.
The versatile radio-cum- TV personality left Starr FM today. Sources say he has already informed management of EIB of his decision to move on.
Giovani upon joining EIB network has become a household name attracting regular Emceeing gigs and other related endeavours.
He also co-hosts the popular television sex education show Duvet on GHOne television with Miss Nancy.
Giovani had previously been with YFM in Accra.
