Prophet Kofi Oduro has condemned individuals fuelling tribalism in the country.

His statements come in response to heightened tribal conflicts, particularly with some groups asserting the superiority of their chiefs over others.

The recent feud between the Dormahene and the Asantehene, along with comments from Afia Pokua that sparked tensions among tribes online, have raised significant concerns.

In light of these issues, Prophet Oduro has criticised such behaviour, labeling it as driven by the spirit of Jezebel.

The Alabaster International Ministries founder, in a recent sermon, has described it as a divide-and-conquer tactic orchestrated by Jezebel spirit.

“People are fighting over Kingship titles and asserting that their hometown chief is more powerful than others. What does that even mean? We’re encouraging tribal nonsense. That’s the spirit of Jezebel at work. Jezebel will segregate and divide you,” he stated.

He further stated, “When you’re abroad and you meet a fellow Ghanaian, you don’t identify them by their tribe. They all relate as Ghanaians. I remember meeting many Ghanaians, including the grandson of the Chief Imam, who came to hug me and took a picture with me. There was such joy on his face.”

Prophet Oduro emphasised that, amid the country’s many challenges, tribalism should not be the focal point.

“Go to the airport and see how it feels like people are chasing Ghanaians out of this country. The nation is facing numerous issues, why add tribalism to it?” he questioned.
