The Homecoming Of Castro D'Destroyer

The current Best Hiplife King Castro D?Destroyer and 2005 Best Hiplife Song of the year and the Best Hiplife Album of the year, is set to launch his latest Hiplife album Comm. Centre in his home town Takoradi, dubbed ?The Homecoming of Castro? and you would not be far from right.

The Takoradi launch is scheduled for Saturday 25th November 2006 at the Poly Auditorium with afterparty at BBJ Nite Club.

The following day, that is 26th November 2006, will be Beach Party at the Last Hour Beach.

Even before the launch, Castro also known as Theophilus Tagoe, collection on this new album has begun to earn considerable airplay on most Radio stations in the whole country. This is not surprising if one come to think of the positive impact his first two albums (Damages and Toffee) and others he featured on enjoyed similar patronage.

According to his hard working manager DJ Amess, the choosing of Takoradi was as a result of the way people of the West admired and accept him as their son.? It is time for him to say ?Am grateful my people? to his people and fans in and around Takoradi. Also to show appreciation to his people and for that matter Ghanaians their support and encouragement.

?Castro, during the launch will reveal his next plan of action to the press in a ?Meet the Press? forum at Skyy Power fm?s theater. We are going to team up with DWIB, the Leukemia Trust to see how we can assist in that project.? He explained.

Castro currently on Prince Dave Records, is expected to team up with Abrewanana, Mzbel, K.K. Fosu, , Kofi Nti, Bright of Buk Bak fame, 4 x 4, Wuta, Praye, Reggie Zippy and the Guest Artist Tony Harmony from Nigeria to rock and ?destroy? the place to be.

The programme is collaboration between Prince Dave Records and Skyy Power 93.5 FM and Skyy Television, Takoradi.
