The Public Gears Up For High School Honors 2011

There’s been a lot of razzmatazz about the newest addition to the entertainment calendar of high school students thus their very own High School Honors, an awards program which has its eyes on them. The show which is the first of its kind has a lot of activities which have been outlined to make this anticipated extravaganza a big blast.

Every student and the general public have their eyes on the once-in-a-lifetime experience. Surprisingly, the old folks also have their attention on the event because they want to relive their days in high school whereas others want to see their wards pick up awards on that very night. High School Honors has kicked off with an awards tour in the schools. Some of the activities before the finale includes pre-party, photo shoot, radio and television promo and many others. The heated anxiety made us speak to the organizers, Fountain House Ghana, an official there said “we have taken time to study what the students like best and we’re delivering excellently. I promise you no one would regret coming because apart from the juicy line up we also have a very big surprise for patrons of the program”.

The High School Honors selection committee admits that their work entails a lot and it’s very challenging because almost every school is eligible for nomination so they have to strategically do their scrutiny and come out with the best. The grand finale is slated for Friday, 19th August 2011 at the National Theatre. The show will witness some of the big entertainers like Asem, Bradez, J Town, Bra Kevin, Dr. Cryme and many more to rock the stage and comedians like DKB & Funny Face, and actors etc do what they do best.

The award comes in the form of a crystal plague and other prizes. The categories are ; most popular student (male & female), Best music group of the year, Most disciplined gentleman of the year, Most disciplined lady of the year, best sports school of the year, and Sports person of the year. The rest are Best male vocalist, Best female vocalist, Best male dancer, Best female dancer, Best male rapper, Best female rapper, most fashionable ( male & female) most fashionable (male & female), best entertainment prefect(male & female), best dance group of the year, Best school alliance and the School of the Year. The general public can vote for their favorite schools and students via text HSH NAME + SCHOOL to short code 1906 on all networks to ensure they pick up an award on that wholesomely pleasant night.
