The Search... 12 Contestants Evicted

Three of the twelve contestants evicted last week from The Search, a talent-hunt programme on Peace FM, nearly collapsed when their names were mentioned among the twelve who had been evicted from the Search House.

The three, out of shock, wept bitterly and uncontrollably in the studios of Peace FM, and the other contestants had a hectic time trying to console them.

The twelve contestants, who all had equal opportunity to prove their talents through singing, poetry or appellation recitals and imitating known personalities with perfection, were evicted last Friday, because of low votes they had from the public.

The eviction was a shattering experience for the affected contestants, who had longed to be part of The Search, from the very first day it was introduced on Peace FM.

The Search, described as a life-changing event, is meant to create a platform to bring to the limelight, untapped and hidden talents in the youth, who are 18 years and above, through the power of radio.

Before the eviction process last Friday, the contestants were made to exhibit their various talents to the listening public.

Although all the contestants performed creditably well, a few, who were not lucky enough, suffered eviction.

The Search is broadcast every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

After each week's performance, the general public is asked to support their favourite contestants through voting.

Contestants who received the least votes each week, would be eliminated until the best talents emerge.

Contestants who become winners of the competitive show, would surely walk home with very attractive packages.
