Prior to auditioning for The X Factor, Ghanaian music duo Reggie ‘N’ Bollie have revealed that they were at their “lowest point and had given up” on themselves because life was pretty tough for them in the United Kingdom (UK).

It has been two years after their participation in the television music competition but the two have described it as the best decision they ever made as it has been much of a blessing than they could imagine.

Reggie ‘N’ Bollie rose to fame in the UK when they auditioned for the twelfth series of The X Factor.

They made it all the way to judges’ houses where they were mentored by Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and were seen as a shock choice for the live shows.

According to Reggie ‘N’ Bollie they met a man of God who confirmed their sentiments.

They disclosed to popular television host Deloris Frimpong Manso on ‘The Delay Show’ that a Pastor said it was God’s blessings that rested on them, hence the reason the reason for reaching the final two of the competition.

“After the show, we met a Pastor who told us that although your performances were not the best, God was working behind the scene to make the world know when all hope is lost, that is when he comes through for His people,” they said.

Aside the fame, the ‘New Girl’ artistes said they have enjoyed more privileges and have more money in their pockets now.

They mentioned that they are invited to grace functions like the Queens favourite sports, horse racing, and paid for their presence.

“We are amazed at how far God has brought us because two years ago, we could not afford certain things we see as affordable now. To the extent that we are were invited to watch a horse racing sport and paid after,” they revealed.

They said this has “completely changed” their lives and made life rosy for them as they are able to pay their bills with ease and live a comfortable life.
