Roland Frimpong Nyarko, better known as Champion Rollie, has revealed the largest payment he has ever received in his dancing career.
A key figure in the Dance With Purpose (DWP) group, Champion Rollie disclosed that earlier this year, he earned an impressive GH¢70,000.00 as an influencer for the Ghana vs. Egypt football match.
He shared this exciting news during an interview on Joy Prime’s children’s program, 4Kids Paradise, hosted by Akosua Debrah.
Reflecting on the moment, he admitted being initially astonished when he saw the substantial sum deposited into his bank account.
"This is the first time I’m revealing this. The highest amount I’ve ever been paid is GH¢70,000.00. In January, I partnered with Football Together and flew to Côte d’Ivoire to promote the Ghana-Egypt match as an influencer. I engaged in extensive social media activities, marking it as the largest contract of my career," Rollie stated.
He admitted to doubting the reality of the payment until he received confirmation from his bank.
While Champion Rollie finds great satisfaction in the financial rewards of his dancing career, he emphasizes that earnings can vary depending on the event and contract terms. Beyond financial gains, he takes pride in the positive impact of his art on others’ lives.
Recently, Rollie organized the 'Clothe-A-Child; Change A Life' fun fair, benefiting over a hundred street children—an initiative close to his heart for years.
Looking forward, he plans to reinvest his earnings into training young dancers from underprivileged backgrounds, offering them opportunities for a brighter future.
