The vision is still in progress - VIP

Hiplife group VIP, has said the name of the group and its mission “Vision In Progress” is still in motion despite one member leaving the group recently.

“This group was established for a purpose and each one of us has a responsibility for us to be able to achieve it. Right from the start we knew it was not going to be easy so no matter what happens the vision is still in progress”, they told Peacefmonline.com’s Eugene Osafo-Nkansah after their performance at fifth edition of the MTN 4Syte TV Music Video Awards which took place on Saturday November 16, 2013 at the Accra International Conference Centre.

Zeal (Abdul Hamidu Ibrahim) and Prodigal (Joseph Nana Ofori) looked excited and satisfied with their first major performance as a duo after Emmanuel Promzy Ababio decided to go his separate way.

“We had a great show tonight and loved the crowd and our fans should watch out this Christmas because we have a lot of things lined up”. They performed their new single “Yeko Di-Sco” for the first time at the show and they were overwhelmed with how the crowd responded to a song they heard for the first time, adding “this will be the official Christmas song”.

This will be the second single as a duo after they released their first single “Kokooko” which features the ‘crazy’ Terry G from Nigeria. They disclosed that the video for “Kokooko” which was shot in Nigeria is ready to be released very soon.

They also hinted that they are currently in studio with prolific Ewe Rapper Edem cocking up another hit song expected to also be released as the their third single, and upcoming nationwide tours in America, Canada and other parts of Europe.

They thanked their fans “We want to thank all our fans in Ghana and all over the world and we want tell them to keep supporting VIP because we are going to keep the vision in progress”.
