Ghanaian musician Darkovibes has called for an improvement in the collaboration between artistes and brands in the showbiz industry.

In an interview with Hitz FM on October 3, 2024, he expressed concerns about some vital issues hindering these partnerships.

When asked if he serves as an ambassador for any product, Darkovibes replied, "Not yet. Not at all."

He highlighted ongoing challenges, stating, "I strongly believe there are serious problems between Ghanaian artistes and brands. There’s this impression that when you’re working with an artiste, you’re helping the artiste."

Darkovibes also advocated for these relationships to be seen as partnerships rather than one-sided support.

“That needs to change to a mindset of working as partners. It's going to go a long way,” he added.

He also revealed that he is collaborating on an upcoming music project with La Même Gang, five years after his last project with the group.

He clarified that while they are working together on a song, they remain individual artistes without rivalry.
