Afro-Gospel sensation Joseph Matthew has challenged traditional notions of worship, asserting that there is no prescribed method to connect with God.

The multiple award-winning Afro-gospel singer, known for his unique blend of traditional gospel and contemporary Afrobeat, is currently out with his eighth single, “Fear No Evil.”

Fear No Evil” characterized by its infectious Afrobeat rhythms, sublime vocals, and impressive rap skills is already being hailed as a potential Song of the Year.

The song, engineered by Francis Osei, delivers a message of courage and faith with strong conviction, leaving a lasting impact on the listener’s soul.

While explaining the motive behind his style of doing Gospel music in an interview On JoyNews, Joseph Matthew stated categorically, “For me, what I am bringing is freedom. I am bringing versatility and people need to understand that to worship God, there is no clear way. Those who want to worship God must do it in spirit and truth”.

"I don’t want to be boxed. I don’t want to dress a certain way before I can worship or sing to God. Those who want to sing for God must do it with freedom,” he added.

Joseph Matthew’s upcoming album ’Solid Rock’’ which is set for release next year, will feature “Fear No Evil” alongside previous hits such as Hallelujah, Not Alone, My Story, Nyame Ye, The Name, Blessed and Promise Land.
