There’s no sense in some of the words I used in Mahama’s campaign song – Nacee

Gospel artiste Nacee has spoken about the significance of a campaign song he crafted for former President John Dramani Mahama during the 2020 general elections.

The musician shared that the version of his song titled, "Onaapo," created for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2020 elections, has been beneficial to his career.

The gospel artiste observed that although the song achieved widespread popularity across the nation, certain words he incorporated, particularly those in 'foreign' languages, lacked meaning.

In response to concerns about the meaning of specific lyrics, such as the "Antipulci" phrase, Nacee admitted they did not make sense.

During an interview with Angel FM, the journalist asked, “so that lyrics [Antipulci], what does it mean?”

Nacee responded: "There is no sense in it."

Meanwhile, Nacee has announced his intention to release an official campaign song for John Mahama in anticipation of the 2024 general elections.
