Food is something we can’t live without even for a single day. It is a basic aspect of our lives as it helps us survive and grow well. A day without eating food is like your whole world crumbling into pieces.
We wake up knowing breakfast will boost our day. A couple of hours later, we might start clock-watching, eager for a lunch to break the monotony of work.
The end of the day might be spent having dinner with loved ones sharing special moments and discussing important details of the day. Even religious holidays are intricately intertwined with eating.
Clearly, food is a focal point of all our lives, every day of the week.
Today been 16th October is World Food Day, a special day of action held annually to tackle global hunger and also appreciate food around the world.
As a way of marking the day today, GhanaWeb set out to ask Ghanaians what their favourite food is and how it is prepared.
Interestingly the feedback the team got was amazing as it tells how Ghanaians do appreciate their local foods to the foreign ones.
