Prominent media personality, Nana Yaa Brefo, has commented on the current marital discord involving celebrities Fella Makafui and Medikal.

She expressed bewilderment at why the couple would let minor disputes lead to their split and publicize their relationship's negative aspects.

She blamed the mothers of the celebrities, suggesting that such marital issues emerge when parents fail to instil the essence of mutual love in their children.

Speaking on Onua FM, Yaa Brefo contended that had there been genuine affection between the actress and the rapper, their union wouldn't have deteriorated.

"The majority of Ghanaian mothers struggle to demonstrate love to their children. This is particularly true among the Akan, though the Fantes fare somewhat better. This pertains to the period of child-rearing. I observe this in both Medikal and Fella, from the way they fell in love to how it concluded.

"I'm puzzled by the unfolding events. Fella entered what seemed a promising marriage, so the current situation is worrying. Had their love been authentic, it wouldn't have dissipated so readily. Perhaps a temporary split might reveal whether they still harbour feelings for one another," she said in Twi.

Her comments follow Medikal's social media outburst against his estranged wife, Fella Makafui, and an incident where he claimed she reported him to the police.

The dispute reportedly stemmed from Medikal's request for Fella's cousin to leave their shared residence.

They are now engaged in a legal battle over their home and daughter's custody.
