Two potential winners of the MTN Soccer Academy "Reloaded Five" Manfred Smith Osei and Abdul Karim on Sunday failed to make it to the grand finale of the show scheduled for this Saturday at the Academy House, Ridge in Accra.
The two, after surviving previous evictions were given a shocking exit as many fans gathered at the Academy House to witness the final eviction stage.
With Smith Osei and Karim out, the stage is now set for Sunday's "Big Do" where surviving teammates, Kobina Essien, Godwin Gakpo, Joseph Adams, Gabriel Darko and Bernard Gyimah will battle for supremacy.
In a friendly test match, Darko hit the back of the net four times to lift his tally to 27 goals, when they thrashed Tullow Oil FC 6-0 to set a new record in the competition, whilst Essien and Gakpo scored one apiece on the evening.
Gyimah escaped the tensed eviction exercise as he emerged the captain of the side.
