The family of music producer Unda Beatz has opened up about the circumstances surrounding his death.

They disclosed that he had been in poor health for some time before his passing.

Specifically, he was said to have been suffering from a boil in his throat, which made it difficult for him to eat or drink.

Despite celebrating his birthday just days before his death, the family shared that he wasn’t feeling well even on that day.

They said he had begun treatment for his throat condition and even went to the pharmacy to get medication.

“He hadn't been well for a while now, even on the day he was celebrating his birthday, he wasn't feeling well. He had a boil in his throat and couldn't eat or drink water. He even went to the pharmacy to get drugs for his condition,” the family exclusively told Gossips 24.

They added that Unda Beatz slept and never woke up.

“The night before he died, he slept in his mother’s room for a while before returning to his own room. In the morning, people checked on him and found his lifeless body.”

Eric Nkrumah, known as Unda Beatz, passed away on September 26, 2024, just days after celebrating his birthday on September 22.

His sudden demise was confirmed by close friends, including Yaa Pono, who expressed their shock on social media.
