Usuofia meets Mahama; promises to release 'Usuofia in Ghana' movie

Nigeria popular actor, Nkem Owoh popularly known as Usuofia has finally climax his 'tourism visit' to Ghana with a meeting with President John Mahama whom he has showered praises on for what he described as 'unbelievable' infrastructural projects his administration has achieved within the space of four years.

Usuofia who could not help his amazement at the infrastructural projects seen in Ghana - in the video posted on YouTube - questioned further - His Excellency on how such 'humongous' projects executed with tax payers money would bring food to table and money to the pocket of Ghanaians, since that's the question on the opposition's lips.

The video also feature snippets of Ovation's Rock Da Vote concert that was hosted in the 10 regions; promoting the magazine's Special Edition on President John Mahama.

In his response, President Mahama described infrastructural project as the foundation for economic prosperity.

"In Ghana, 90 percent of our goods are moved by the road sector, so, when this is done, there will be easy movement of goods from the farms in rural areas to the city. People will no longer waste their precious time in traffic, and ultimately, these infrastructure will stimulate economic activities and growth".

He stated further that infrastructural facilities such as schools, hospitals among others also mean employment for the unemployed; "so, the initiative of prioritizing infrastructure is to ensure that many other needs are met".

President Mahama also hint that his next term, improving the livelihood of Ghanaians will be his number one priority.

"We are going to empower more people with skills, so they are able to find suitable employment or become entrepreneurs. We shall as well improve credit situation for private sector, so business can boom".

In addition, he promised that from next year, Ghana will be producing more electricity than it needs.

Usuofia further appreciate President Mahama for holding the touch of excellent leadership in governance; promising to do 'Usuofia In Ghana'.

President Mahama in response - appreciate his success in Nollywood as an actor; declaring that he's a fan of his works.

"The truth is, you have a lot of fans in Ghana, and i am proudly one of them", Mahama said.
