Utopia movie promises to set the pace in Ghana movie industry - Director

The Director of Utopia, Mr. Kobi Rana has revealed to GhanaWeb.com that the new movie set for premiere on the 27th of August is set to break record in Ghana movie industry.

Rana said all has been done to ensure Ghanaians are aware of the pace setting movie through various media platforms.

“This has yielded expected results because we have started witnessing a mad rush for tickets which goes for GHC 30.00.

We are surprised at the response we get from the purchase of tickets so far, and we are calling on more Ghanaians and lovers of great script, creative actors and inspiration movies not to miss this premiere for anything in the world,” he said.

The movie which has been slated for premier at Silverbird Cinema Accra Mall and West Hills will kick start by 6.30 pm and second premier by 8.30pm respectively. Red carpet session is expected to kick off before 5pm

Utopia is a tale of two brothers who decided to venture into crime business in order to survive economic hardship and become rich. Their decision however leads them to a point of no return where only their guts will liberate them.

The movie, based on its trailer is packed with suspense, lessons as well as comic relief.

The film is directed by Kobi Rana and is starring Alphonse Menyo ( Freetown Actor), Elikem Kumordzi (Big Brother Africa Star) Psalm Adjetey Fio, Irene Opare, Cephas Asilevi, and many others.
