Hiplife group, V.I.P and their protégées F.O.I thrilled the students of the Takoradi Polytechnic with electrifying performances on Saturday night, as part of activities to bring the institution’s Akwaaba Week to an end. They were the special guests for the well received variety show that saw performances from various local talents from Takoradi, including a few from the institution itself.
The performance at Takoradi Polytechnic was just one of the many activities that the group embarked on during the weekend, with a lot more planned in the coming weeks. V.I.P over the weekend commenced a video shoot for their song, ‘My Baby’ featuring Nigerian sensation, Flavour Nabania of the hit ‘Ashawo’ fame. The video for the Jam Master Jay produced cut from the hugely successful album, ‘Progress’ is being shot by Gyo of Phamous People.
According to V.I.P, they expect the new video to be nothing short of the benchmark that they’ve set with their music videos, which saw them grab 6 nominations in the upcoming 4syte Music Video Awards. Later in the week, V.I.P would also appear in the video shoot for F.O.I’s latest single, ‘One More Time’ featuring V.IP. The group is also the Executive Producers for the upcoming debut album of F.O.I (Fruit of Inspiration).
