Late songstress, Ebony Reigns (Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng), is widely expected to dominate the 19th VGMAs, currently ongoing at the Accra International Conference Centre, and already, she shows signs of proving that assertion as accurate.

She’s emerged winner in the Afro-pop Song of the Year, whilst KiDi picked up the laurel for Highlife Song of the Year.

Compered by Berla Mundi and Jon Dumelo, VGMA 2018 is a Charterhouse Ghana production.

It is sponsored by telecoms giant Vodafone. Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Joe Mettle, Shatta Wale, and late songstress, Ebony Reigns are all in the running for the coveted award of Artist of the Year.
