Swedru-based artiste, Patapaa Amisty has said the Vodafone Ghana Music Award Board should have known that he has no competition for the song of the year category.

According to him, his “One Corner” song was a global hit song and he needed to have been honoured with the award rather than being asked to compete in the same category with other artistes.

Patapaa who was speaking on GhOne TV indicated that artistes competing with him in the same category are aware that he has no competition because his song made waves across the world; an indication of how viral his song was.

Patapaa is competing with Sponsor – Ebony, Odo – Kidi, Angela – Kuami Eugene, Taking Over – Shatta Wale ft. SM Militants, Total Cheat – Fancy Gadam ft. Patapaa hinted that he is about to release a song to chide Prophet Kumchacha for talking ill about him and his hit song, ‘One Corner’ and also publicly abusing Afia Schwarzenegger.
