Ace Ghanaian Broadcast Journalist and Public Speaker, Kwami Sefa Kayi has expressed how scared he was when there was brawl at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).

Stonebwoy pulled a gun at the just ended VGMA when Shatta Wale, his rival stormed the stage when he (Stonebwoy) was announced as winner of the Reggae/Dancehall artiste.

As the Master of Ceremony (MC) for the occasion, Sefa Kayi was of the view that anything could have happened at the event due to the tension between the two teams and even the public.

“I came with my wife to enjoy the show. Young girls and boys present, Ministers of state there, British High Commissioner in attendance and you come up together with Berla Mundi as MCs for the show which was going on well and something happens and guns are pulled, you for look sharp”, he said Accra-based Adom Fm.

Sefa Kayi also told Captain Smart that he was terrified by what happened and was scared for his life and that of the other dignitaries who attended the event.

“I was frightened by happenings because it could have been anything. It could have turned into something very unpleasant especially when the free for all fight started on the stage. But for the timely intervention of the security and the few spirited individuals who remained calm, there would have been recorded deaths”, he revealed.

He also identified that the scuffle could have resulted into a stampede, while he blamed Shatta Wale for being responsible for brawl, adding that he had no business mounting the stage.

Meanwhile, the two, have allegedly been arrested by the police and are under investigations.
