Ghanaian rapper, Flowking Stone has chided Charter House, organizers of Ghana Music Awards for handing him just one nomination in this year's VGMA.
In an interview with DJ Nyaami on SVTV Africa after his performance at the Kpoo Keke Street Carnival in Kumasi, the rapper said, he deserves more than just one nomination. He explained that, he has worked so hard in the year under review and that, he was expecting to be nominated in the collaboration and album of the year category but unfortunately he was not nominated. this, the artist said VGMA has not been fair to him but he can't complain.
"I have been nominated in the hiplife song of the year category but I deserve more than just one nomination, I was expecting to be nominated in the collaboration of the year and also my Gifted Two album, an amazing album, which was suppose to be nominated but it wasn't, it's unfair but I can't complain because there are some people who were not even nominated"
Flowking Stone among other artist are not happy with the scheme after it has released its nominations for the 20th edition.
Flowking Stone, is set to embark on a nationwide tour and also to push his Gifted Two album.
The rapper further revealed that, he will be releasing lots of singles in the coming months which will feature some top Jamaican artists.
