VIDEO: Kwaadee shuts down Kumasi

The much anticipated comeback club tour for Ghanaian hiplife music sensation Jerry Anaba popularly known as Okomfour Kwaadee dubbed 'A Night with Okomfour Kwadee Ne Atuatedom' took off to a beautiful start at Vienna City in Kumasi over the weekend.

The event which is the first of many scheduled for the artist to reconnect with his fans from all over Ghana saw several people from all walks of life, both young and aged throng the venue to witness a sterling performance from the artist who has for a long while been out of the public eye.

Commencing with sterling performances from guest artists such as Kuntakinte of Bradez, Andy of Mentor Fame, Ogunz of 2 Toff, Chikicherker, the audience could wait no longer to see Okomfour Kwaadee on stage.

Surfacing from the crowd and climbing the stage to a rousing welcome, Okomfour Kwadee took his fans back in time as he continuously dished out all the songs one could ever remember. From 'Ataa Adwoa', 'Ka Wonan to so', 'Kwaku Sampson', etc. along with some of his great stage moves will forever remain a sight to behold.

With almost 45 minutes into his performance, CEO of Empire Entertainment and drive time host of newly established Accra-based Starr FM, Bola Ray could not hide his excitement as he joined Okomofur Kwaadee on stage to shower money on him and embrace him.

He praised Okomfour for the great comeback and asked fans to support the movement.

Okomfour Kwaadee performed for almost 3 hours until fans got weary from standing and could take it no more.

Among the highlights of the night was when an 80-year-old woman present openly made way close to the stage to ask Okomfour Kwadee to perform one of his hit songs one more time.

Okomfour Kwaadee who showed no sign of tiredness despite the energetic performance thanked all who came out and asked them to wait patiently for his upcoming album, 'Fa Wo Nsa Gu Wo Ti' which drops in December.
