VVIP set to thrill fans @ Sallah Fest 2015

The 2015 edition of the Sallah Fest dubbed 'VVIP Sallah Fest' has officially been launched at the residence of the Nima Chief Alhaji Nii Futa with a significant breaking of fast ceremony called ‘Iftar’.

The ‘Iftar’ took the form of a meal shared between the chief of Nima, Nii Futa and his sub-chiefs to break the fast for that day and to signify the midpoint of the entire fasting period.

This year's event scheduled to come off Saturday 18th July, 2015 is to add pomp and pageantry to the end of Ramadan, 30-day fasting and prayers by the Muslim community.

This is being put together by Reggie Rockstone and his VVIP team, Hearts Of Oak Musical Chapter 'O' Fan base and also supporting is the Chief of Nima and his elders and all other sub chiefs in the Nima Community.

The programme is being sponsored by kind courtesy, Coca Cola, Gino Tomatoe Paste, The Rice Master, Omo Washing Powder, Frytol Cooking Oil from Wilmar Africa, Indomie and EXP Events Management Company.

Speaking at the launch, Nii Futa urged the Muslim communities and Ghanaians to join this annual feast as Nima celebrates since the mercies of Allah kept them throughout the fasting period.

He further expressed his profound gratitude to the VVIP Music Group and all the sponsors on board who have sponsored the show since its inception and still keeping it alive.

Reggie Rockstone in a remark also added that this year's edition would be unique in a number of ways since VVIP has a lot to offer upcoming and underground hiplife artistes from Muslim communities.

There were also farewell speeches from EXP Represented by Elloeny Amande who is the Head of Sponsorship and Media, and Nana Yaa from Wilmar Africa, Producers Of Frytol among others.
